About Training 9-1-1 Heroes
Emergency Communication Professionals (ECPs) are often the last in the department to receive training. As our profession evolves, we see new threats to responders, new technology, and new types of calls. It is critical that ECPs have the opportunity for continuing education. Many agencies do not have the staffing or budget to send ECPs to classroom training. For this reason, Training 9-1-1 Heroes provides quality online learning courses and activities for a nominal yearly fee.
The mission of Training 9-1-1 Heroes is to ensure every ECP has an opportunity for ongoing education.
Training 9-1-1 Heroes provides continuing education courses specifically for ECPs. These courses take approximately 1-2 hours to complete. The courses have PowerPoint slides, videos, discussion questions, activities, knowledge checks, and a final examination. A course certificate will be provided upon completion of the course.

Multiple courses are approved by Massachusetts State 9-1-1 and New Jersey OETS.

In addition to continuing education courses, ECPs have access to TDD refresher courses, a variety of 9-1-1 worksheets, training activities, and employee recognition activities.
Each ECP requires an account. Accounts are $20 per ECP, per year. Bulk pricing is available for agencies of all sizes.
