Course Goal

This course will prepare Telecommunicators for calls from persons being stalked.

Stalking incidents can cause fear, terror, and frustration for the victims. Stalking incidents and the stalkers vary in many ways. Telecommunicators must ensure proper questions are asked to completely document stalking incidents. 


This course will define stalking, and relay recent stalking statistics. The course will discuss the five different kinds of stalkers. The course will cover stalking behaviors and techniques to use in stalking calls to ensure responder, caller, and bystander safety.
